Sign Up for Monthly Mental Health Seminars hosted by ECDMH and UB Psychiatric Practice

The Erie County Department of Mental Health and the University Psychiatric Practice have collaborated to provide a monthly mental health seminar on a variety of topics. It will occur on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, beginning October 21st, 2015.  Please note that there are only 40 spots available for the October 21st seminar and it will be on a first come first serve basis. Please RSVP (for the October 21st seminar ONLY) to Chelsea.dominick@erie.gov by Friday October 16, 2015. She will be sending a monthly notice for each seminar. There are a few days left to register for the Caregivers: This Day is For You! day of workshops & resource fair on November 2 at the Millennium Hotel. Please let caregivers you may know (friends, neighbors, family) about it.

The Caregiver Resource Center is taking reservations for the FREE annual Caregivers: This Day is For You! event on Nov. 2 at the Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga from 8 am – 3 pm. Workshop topics include:

Although there is no charge for this Workshop & Resource Day, registration is required.

Hosted by: Erie County Caregiver Coalition and the Alzheimer’s Disease Assistance Center. Look for the parking lot shuttle when you get there – it’ll be picking folks up in the parking lots surrounding the hotel so you don’t have to walk so far. Knowledge is POWER!! Hope to see you there!!!
