E-mail Print PDF

When Vendors become a part of the Wraparound Process, they may hear many unfamiliar terms. In order for them to understand how their work affects the youth they serve, CCNY has provided two documents that will explain a term that vendors may hear, but not understand its relationship to their work, the CAFAS.

The CAFAS is a professionally-rated measurement tool designed to assess the level of functioning in children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, or substance use symptoms or disorders (Hodges, 1990). If you wish to know more, we have a document that will help:

The CAFAS (PDF File): This tip sheet explains what the CAFAS is, what it measures, how it’s measured, and why it’s important to you and your work. It does not take the place of any certified training provided by the authors of the CAFAS. It is meant for informational purposes only.

If you would like additional information, you can download a brochure for parents, or you can go to Dr. Hodges website http://www.fasoutcomes.com.
