E-mail Print PDF

The WAY Program (Work Appreciation for Youth), currently has openings in Culinary Skills, Raindrop Creations and the WAY Cleaning Crew.  I have listed the available worksites with a brief description and times available.

Culinary Skills

The Culinary Skills worksite teaches trainees the skills needed to work successfully in a kitchen. Students learn kitchen skills such as following a recipe, practicing good knife skills, and responsibility for set up and clean up of the kitchen.  Culinary Skills hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday 4:15-8:15pm.  Hours can be flexible due to transportation and educational needs.

Raindrop Creations

Raindrop Creations is the production team for our handmade jewelry. There are a variety of items made such as earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. A large selection of beads, stones, and charms are used in these items. Jewelry is available for sale at various boutiques and craft shows throughout the year.  Raindrop Creations hours of operation are Monday 3:00-6:00pm. Hours can be flexible due to transportation and educational needs.

WAY Cleaning Crew

Our Cleaning Crew worksite consists of WAY trainees who work along side with experienced people in the area of housekeeping and cleaning. Students acquire skills in proper cleaning techniques, light housekeeping and safety.  WAY Cleaning Crew hours of operation are Thursday 3:00-7:00pm. Hours can be flexible due to transportation and educational needs.
